what is the casting process ?
Casting is a manufacturing process by which a liqud material is usually poured inito a mold ,which contains a hollow cavity of the desired shapes , and then allowed to solidify. The solidifIied part is also known as a casting ,which is ejected or broken out of the modl to complete the process.

Casting is the most often used for complex shapes that would be otherwise difficult or uneconomical to make by other methods.
